Everyone has a song or a genre of music that brings them back to the happy moments during childhood. Mine happen to be hymns. I grew up in a church where we used to sing hymns every Sunday morning from the hymn book. I occasionally find myself singing those very hymns now as an adult while I reminisce on easier, happier times filled with endless Summer's and days tomorrows that were always so far away.

In Christ Alone has become that hymn that echos in every aspect of my life. I find that in Him and Him alone I am at peace, made new and able to rest.

It doesn't matter your background, religious up bearing, or status; we all have those moments we wish would could have back so we could enjoy fully. But since we can not have them back, let's live in the present and be completely here.
