Monday Motivation: MiraFit

Mental and physical health has always been important to me. Especially since I grew up in a household with a parent living with a mental disorder various physical ailments. It made me realize how taking care of my body is very important.

As someone who struggles with managing a busy and often over scheduled day, I've learned being healthy has nothing to do with your waist size, it's all about how you feel. Mental health and physical health (in my opinion) go hand in hand. That's one of the reasons why I reached out to

Mira

to try out their band as I decided to aim for a healthier mind and body for 2016.

One of my favorite things about Mira is the look of it. It looks like a bracelet. A lot of bands (including my tried and true Fitbit) are visually unattractive. But since I started wearing the Mira band I received so many compliments and once I tell them what it is, they immediately look it up. They have different bracelet

color options

to help you find the right color/metal for your style.

I also like how Mira shows you how many steps you've taken, how many calories you have burned and the time all on the band's face as well as the app that is available for iPhone and Droid phones. I have a Droid and I feel like some of the features I am unable to activate, but I am still learning about that band and its features.

I haven't started working out yet and seeing how the Mira band ties into it, so I still have much to learn about it. I have to admit that I'm excited that the company understands that women these days are so busy trying to balance everything else and it helps you be the best shape for yourself; not for everyone else. Definitely looking forward to using this more in the New Year.

Does anyone else have the Mira? If so, I would love to hear how you feel about it.

Be.

Be.
